Nice Hightop. That's a great looking Croll! Let's see some pics when it's fully built.

Looks super duper good. I like the unpainted crown on the fork.

i agree htop, that frame sure looks damb good. Someone in walton painted it up ...eh ? You should send a shout out, because from here it sure seems like the person did an excellent job.

Question .... are the red ribbon inside of the panel decals or were they masked off during the paint...damb pretty if you ask me.

I've been kicking around the notion of painting my old mountain bike up, but the darn frame has so many dings in it i think it may be a worthless cause. Dings from brakelever..from crashes...and dings from stackin' em' on top of each other.

Anyway ... just wanted to let you know i was impressed. Can't wait to see pics man.

The paint looks super sweet Craig. I think that you should build it up with parts from the era. Maybe skip the tamer post though...

TonyofWalton painted a 1988 lugged steel Jamis Dakar Sport of mine back in 1993/94??? A super cool fade green....it rocks! Still have it ...still looks awesome....sporting "Ritchey" stickers just to annoy "AC" from the old Deluxe Bicycles.....yes...it has the rear brake under the chain stays....and yes...I'm old....
