It was 55ish here, pictures are from Red Rocks/Dakota Ridge in Golden 30 minutes from home. Always then first to dry out in the winter...
It's good. Pretty techy couple of trails, I'd take my Endurho there 9 of 10 times, but it performed as expected, which is very good. Climbs sandy stuff really good w/2.1 mythos f/r. Felt awesome on the few fast sections.
GF makes an adapter that screws into a couple of mounting holes in the frame. And am I glad I've got 'em. If I had known how easy these Avid Mechs are, I would have installed them the day they were available. Really. It's that easy.
you'll hear people say it is the most important change they have ever made to their cycling. i've been sold since i got pinky. the first higher the axle ht log i rode over i about laughed out loud.
the bummer is it makes your 26ers feel really strange. not necessarily bad but very different. i was thinking if i got another dual squishy what it would be. i was thinking pre-packaged trek liquid or something off the shelf but the more i think about it the more i'd be curious about a 9er like the 9er titus racer-x. that'd be mega cash (again) but it might be sooooooooper sweet.
His IF looks super rad. Hopefully I'll get out sometime and meet the guy.
Migz/Wills are two guys who super impressed me on their 9er singles, and played a big part in my curiosity. I've got to say, the 6'er wheels do look small now after looking at the Supercal (and her wheels) for a week.
just wait till you go back and forth between bikes bg. i about threw myself over the bars on my commuter bike once. it feels weird to me. but then it feels normal again after you give it a while. i'll be interested to see what you think about the big wheels after a few months. they look stupid big at first.

where's that? looks dry. not here. rain took care of the snow but we're wet for a while.
so what's the verdict after one ride? what tires?

nice. and nice post on mtbr.
The bike looks good. Looks pretty clean, too.
Hey what did you come up with for a rear disc mount? I thought that your frame was canti only?

I could see a 9'er in my future. I'm gonna have to at least try 6'er full suspension before i go that route though!
But the more i think about it for the make of the land around here the big wheels do make sense!
I like bikes! ALOT!
Uhhhhh by the way debaser nice picture and the bike looks good too!
3 of my regular riding buds (well, now 4) are all 29er dudes. Here's the list
(1) Wiley Custom rigid single
(1) Lenzsport 3" full susp
**same guy just got a rigid IF (jl on mtbr)
(2) guys have geared Fisher front susp hardtails.
Jeesh. On one ride a couple weeks ago, I was the odd 26 man out!

Yep. Migz is a fantastic bike handler. He keeps saying he needs to get the Cove kickin, then says, nah, I like my Wiley.
