Found: Singletack
I have this idea that after a big shuttle ride I should spend some time climbing, so I planned on a ride up a Jeep towards treeline. Everything was going according to plan until I got to thinking about a large area on the map with no trails, just rumours. Well, I got to poking around, and after a couple false starts, I hit the jackpot. Not only did I find miles of downhill singletrack, I saw several other possibilities. Gonna have to go back and check it out some more!

Looks good, where'd you find the void?
From 505 to Cardinal. Funny, the last rumpur I heard was about a trail heading to Caribou, This was arguably better. Decided down until it was on the Swiz trail in that area.

99% sure of that. Some typical offcamber markings were about.
Funny, I saw 2 people all day on Commando, and 4 people on this trail I'd never been on. Make that 5, there was one walker who was super cool.

huh... can't imagine there being trails up there that aren't on maps. that just can't be!

bg, keep me in the loop if your gonna do any more recon up there. i'd be mighty tempted to tag along, you know, to make sure you don't get lost.

I dunno about that. The point is to try to get lost. And the more I get lost the harder it is to get lost the next time. Did I lose you there?
But you were never lost because you always new where you were, right. Lost - a vague term but usually a good state. Jason that rode with us on Memorial Day claims to know a bunch of the riding up there. Says he rarely goes to W Mag anymore...

count me in if I don't go to WP for the snow mountain ranch 'cross race. kinda have the 'cross bug and it'll take it at least one race to get rid of it.
