welp....the Jo-hansons arrived safely after their 24hr drive across the barren states of MT and WY.....when they got here both were purdy blurry eyed, but i managed to talk'em into a few beers at the brewery and then dinner. The bike ride home was a dark and drunk one.
Then yesterday morn. we headed for a little introductory ride. Notice mikes bike...34lbs and then some. And not one single complaint : )
After the quick ride i gathered up the devall tribe and we headed north to check out their new abode at the fire station.....Frenchtown is a small town, however they don't live in frenchtown, they live 15 miles from it up some beautiful little road. Straight up country living. I could almost vision mike wearing wranglers and a giant ass belt buckle while shoveling cow dung and throwin' rope. good grins...
their back door is about 50 yrds from the Nine Mile Stream, a beautiful little river that i'm sure has an abundance of fish...i'm hoping my next visit up there will be with my fly rod and a 6pac of busch lite.
Magic doesn't strike me as the wranglers and belt buckle type. more like the nothing but overalls grey pin stryped overalls.... naked cept for overalls and a piece of straw danglin out the side of his mouth. maybe a seed corn hat. or straw fisin hat...
yup..
good to hear you guys made it up there safe. sounds beutiful..
Let the good times roll! Get some pics up as soon as you can. Pics of glacier national would be cool! Is your digi cam up and running? I have one i can loan ya. Needs a new battery though.
Side note:
i saw the melvins at champions yesterday. Your sis was already talking about bringing kaleb up for a visit!
Hopefully you will be in the firehouse long enough for the kirks next visit to MT!
We do not have access to a computer unless we drive into Missoula or head down to Chad's house. Brian, we cannot find our digital camera so a loaner would be great. Where we live is awesome, kind of lonely but beautiful. We have been told by the fire chief here that there are some famous people back our way. No names though. We do not even have a home phone yet, hopefully they will be there Thursday, along with the satellite dish. I have'nt been on any rides yet by our house, I left my pedals at Chad's house. On the digital camera situation, I will call you tomorrow to give you my address.
Hang in there long enough to scope out some sweet single track! Have you made a visit to B&N to pick up your Montana Gazetter? Next time we get up that way you should play tour guide!

hey Wills....ithink bumblebees are the least of his concerns:

have you seen his girly reaction to bees? its scary! i mean. omigod...
bears would suck a bit worse, and likely would turn any of us into girly men.
Wills is cracking me up. Only because Johnson cracked me up first!
