yep. that's the day and that's the ride. i was pretty wishy washy on the ride/hike deal. oh well. we all had a enjoyable afternoon. the trails did dry out nicely after the monsoon the night before.
that would be great if you could make it ganz. We've got accomodations in Hurricane, and a few of us will be camping in zion. So just bring your bad self.
we leave on the 21st and should be down there until the 25th.

This must be the ride sda and I bailed on. Although he was itching to get on wheels once we started hiking, I think it turned out pretty good.
Rim trail is usually pretty sandy. Was it ok after the rains?

I'll see... I was hoping you meant moab or Fruita. Hurricane looks like a 10 hour drive... not impossible...
