Nice. $25 is hard to beat. How far away is this place?

about 50 miles.

the sking was pretty darn good on sunday. Lots of chopped up powder, and you could still ski the sides and make turns knee deep.

wooohoooo.

me and my (gasp) lady friend hit mary jane on saturday. first lift-served experience in my life. it was *ok* i guess but i still felt like a slacker sitting on that lift instead of skinning for turns.

good powder day though. like a foot of new snow and it was coming down all day. $30 ticket doesn't feel too painful either ...

I got towed to the base and had to hike for the turns, but it was worth it for 75" of powder. One of my friends got frostbite though, it was wicked cold and windy on top of the bridger ridge.

My friends were up at LT on saturday and said it was great. They hiked towards the expansion and got in some pow turns by the cliff band you can see to the north of the original mountain. I can't wait to ski there again, we should try and meet up sometime over christmas break.
