Sweet collage. Glad you had a good time. Did you ride everywhere or just SBT? That's a good trail.

We rode with glenzx on Friday. He put together a ride that he and I and Zana all enjoyed (Dale Ball in the foothills of Santa Fe), pointed me towards the best map of the area, camping, and green chili! Super nice guy, and obviously super duper strong.

Besides that, we rode the rim trail near the Rio Grande Gorge bridge, that was very scenic, right before a raging storm sent us scurrying for a hotel room for the night.

And the last section of the SBT. Oh, how I want to ride all of that!

Marathon race was 4 hours? That's sweet. Great idea.

How did you ride South Boundary? I haven't done the whole thing from Angel Fire, but I've ridden from Don Fernando (or whomever) Peak and down. Great singletrack for a long, long, long downhill. mmmm.

I posted some more pictures and a little more detail here.

Dave, i rode up Ojitos, got lost, got unlost, and rode down SBT from that junction. Was good to have the GPS and a map... Anything above where I topped out was sketchy for snow.

Interesting trip. Felt like a different country most of the time we were down there, much more so than my usual travels. I'm putting the hard sell on the wife to head to GITA. It's not that hard to sell after this trip. I'd love to hit all the SBT in a day, and the possibilities from Santa Fe are pretty endless too.

That'd be sweet. It's toitally up in the air for us right now, so send some suggestions - no wait, let's talk about it 9 days from now when we're all partying down!
