davey boy....so how did you hold up to all of that riding ? Just before you left you were talking that you haven't been riding much....were you in pain ?
ganz. post some more pics. i'll send a link to klines site once he posts some of his. i bet he has some good ones too. thanks for stopping and taking to the time to capture some of the incredible places we were. those rim trails are my favorite.
you would have shit your pants on how cool holy cross was. good trail. bring your A game for sure. we rode lory st. park yesterday north of ft. fun. also good. and deserted since it was monday morn.
yeah. i wasn't cleaning or even riding a few of the sections but overall i'd say, oh purdy good. bobbing and weaving thru the holy cross trail. and we ended the ride coming down that sketchy stuff to the left as you faced the ridge from the parking area. there were a few left turns you wanted to make sure you made coming down...
that holy cross trail ROCKS!! i really got into it, but if you're not on your A game, that'd be a hard one to get into.
did we mention that we saw mike curiak again on sunday, while we were descending holy cross? yeah, he was with a couple of other cats, and he was climbing it! WTF mate? so as i slide to a halt, he immediately says "hey matt... two days in a row - you guys have a knack for finding the best trails around here," which of course mw and i took as a high compliment. it was a fitting end to our time on the western slope. :-}
... climbing holy cross. geez dude - i was happy enough just descending it with my ass still intact.

Friday night: Sacrificing helmets to the biking overlords at the campfire.
Saturday night: Blank stares.
I think most of us were feeling some pain, I'm still sore.

I'm still reeling from the riding.
