stone cold lampin'
we like bikes!

Last gasp.
Yesterday might have been it for the year up on the really high stuff. Big day, started with a singletrack climb, followed by a gravel road climb for 5 or 6 miles, followed by a rocky technical steep jeep road up, same jeep road down the other side, and then nice piece of epic singletrack to cap the day. I included some pics of relics of the past, and the weather report. It's raining pretty steadily here already.

I like that second pic. Is that Caribou area? Looks awesome.

No ride for me yesterday, but I managed to squeak out a 7am-er this morning up in the 'wood. Twas fun. Got all my climbing in dry, all the descending was really wet as the fog and rain settled in.

Caribou it is. Went accross Mud Lake, up to the Switz, climbed to Caribou, across and down to the goods. Got yelled at too, so the route will get altered a bit.

Nice MW. I'd like to do that sometime, but I doubt I'll ever have time with the frequency I've been back there lately.

According to my Ghost Towns book, one was the hotel and the other was the assayer's building. Post office started in 1870's, ended in 1917.
