heading out for ponca @ 325 am. it was early and dark which made the gravel roads that more exciting. we ended up with 162 miles one way, about 11 hrs. 20 min. of ride time. total trip was 15 hrs. to the camp site. when and what is the destination of the next one??!!!

that's just north of 70th and c-husker. pretty dead at that time of the morning. pretty fun to leave at that time and hit ceresco and wahoo before most people are even thinking about getting out of bed. i've gone on some long rides before but we really spend most of the day in the saddle. the further north the more desolate. and the more rolling it got. i was surprised it was not hilly-er then it was. and there were some big long hills but not the length of the hills at the end of the ride to caves.

more pics!!!

man. i'm wishing it was a week ago. as sick and stupid as it was to get going that early, it was fun and exciting to embark on a dream ride like that...
